    Beschreibung: Jabaco ist eine objektorientierte Programmiersprache. Die Syntax von Jabaco ähnelt der populären Programmiersprache Visual Basic von Microsoft. Der Jabaco-Compiler erzeugt performanten, plattformunabhängigen Java Bytecode. In Jabaco wurden moderne Softwarekonzepte im Sprachdesign umgesetzt. Jabaco ermöglicht allen professionellen Entwicklern die Arbeit mit Entwurfsmustern und bietet gleichzeitig einen Einstieg für unerfahrene Anwender. Jabaco ist weitestgehend kompatibel zu Microsoft Visual Basic, wodurch bestehende Anwendungen schneller auf alternative Plattformen wie Linux, oder Mac OS portiert werden können. Entwickler haben durch Jabaco unkompliziert Zugriff auf eine große Auswahl von neuen Java-Technologien wie Hibernate, Log4Java, JMF, Java3D, eFace und einer Vielzahl weiterer Bibliotheken.
